Remember Who You Are

The more I learn and contemplate, the more certain I am that I'm not entirely "christian" in my beliefs and thoughts. Not in the traditional sense. I was not raised in the church so I don't have a deep rooted belief system that I am constantly having to justify or defend,  especially when it is nothing more than misinformation, half truths, or is in direct opposition to something said elsewhere in the Bible or other religious writings of the time. There are nuggets of truth in those teachings but they have been altered, covered, if you will, by the Church. . .our spiritual leaders.

We know they did it. We know because no thing that is hidden shall remain so. The “Word” that we live by today is basically a redacted version of the truths we were given about ourselves and the world we live within; reinterpreted to fit the agenda of the time under the direction of King James for the Church of England and completed in 1611 A.D. 1600+ years after the death of Christ.

We KNOW because the original documents have resurfaced centuries later with more detail. Lost teachings that were inflammatory left out and deemed blasphemous by the Church; passages found to be misinterpreted, deliberate or not remains to be seen, and still, few question the now traditional teachings from this book. These are the ones you will follow? You will form yourself to their image and according to their will? Of course, they left us with this warning, a final shot of fear:

"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

In other words, don’t question us, don’t change this message, and only seek answers through our trusted emissaries, or you will suffer dire consequences. For all eternity. Let's look at that real quick.

Our spiritual leaders reinvented hel or helle, originally merely a place of concealment, derived from the root of Kel or Kol meaning to cover or to conceal, into a fiery realm of brimstone and demonic torture called “hell” to scare its converts into adhering to their agenda. Hell is, simply put, a separation.

Our spiritual leaders changed a word that meant “the act of missing the mark” into an act that will send you to this fiery pit of hell for eternity, as sin surely will do, and then determined what would constitute “sin”. They would have you believe that doing something considered “wrong” by your peers will brand you a sinner and send you straight to that fiery place of punishment.

They would have you believe that God, creator of all things, is in no way responsible for our so-called sinful acts. That is to say, acts our spiritual leaders have deemed a sin. No man can determine such things and no consideration is given to the fact that if the performance of that act, that sin, was God’s purpose for you here then why would you be eternally punished?

Have you not completed the task He put before you even at the foundation of the world? Have you not fulfilled your role in the completion of His divine purpose according to His will? So, now, eternal hell and damnation? His ways are not our ways; His understanding is not ours.

If your eye offends you, pluck it out lest it cause you to sin. What does that even mean? Can an eye actually make you sin? The literal translation being if something offends you about yourself you should not attempt to conceal it. You should deal with that thing that may be a stumbling block on the path to your salvation. The implication being that what I perceive as wrong may not be wrong to you as it may cause you no offense. Hence the admonishment to “judge not” for we know not another individual's path to salvation.

My truth, and yours if you are brave enough, is that I was created as I am [thoughts, emotions, strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and gifts] for a reason. My Maker knew me before I was in my mother's womb - before I was given this physical form crafted by His own hands. He knows me down to the number of hairs on my head. He designed me inside and out.  I am beautifully and wonderfully made in His image and I am beloved by Him.

Yet, this man made belief system would convince me that the very act of living in this physical form makes me now somehow unworthy of Him! What? No! Who are those that would presume to speak for our Creator? Who among us can judge His creation and find it lacking?

Who would contend that they have divine knowledge such that they can somehow lead me to salvation or send me to certain and irrevocable death?  You have no right to deem me unworthy and no authority was given to you to do so. Your judgement of me could well be your downfall.

Our Creator is not concerned with the physical and is no respecter of persons, because we are not physical beings looking for a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a physical experience.

This man made belief system would have you believe that we are not already that from which we are formed. Like equals like.  Apples can not create an orange, Cows can not create a horse. We came from Gods and therefore we are gods. So it is said; ‘You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.’

The Hebrew word translated “gods” is
Elohim, which literally means “gods” or “mighty ones”. "Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, [heeds My teaching] the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these". What are we to do? Heed Him. What did He say? You are gods.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him [heeds His teaching] should not perish but have eternal life". Jesus had one job. He came that we would know we are saved.

He came to remind us of who we are, why we are here, and what comes next, by His example. Why? Because we have forgotten who we are; the physical embodiment of The Holy Ghost, put in this place and time to finish the work of the I AM. He, the only begotten Son, was sacrificed for us. How loved we must be in our iniquity.

Our spiritual leaders will tell you if you don’t attend their services, faithfully tithe 10% of your wealth (minimum) to them, trust in outside and outward things to save you while confessing your “sins” to them in order that they may intercede on your behalf for forgiveness, then you will surely die. Are these the "false prophets" of which we were warned? The truth is that we are temples of God’s spirit. We are granted His Divine power in all things that pertain to life and godliness.

Our task is not to return to some nebulous place in the sky for the Kingdom of God is here.  It is “at hand” and within each of us. Our refusal to look inward as we are instructed, our insistence as a people in looking outward for worldly guidance regarding spiritual matters, is why I believe we are told that narrow is the way to salvation while wide is the road to destruction.

Why concern yourself with what spiritual leaders think and believe when we are each endowed with the same light? E
ven as He chose us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. Therein is the free gift of God; salvation freely given and not the result of works. We are physically embodied souls trying to navigate this existence; bumbling around in our blindness, yet somehow, and in some way, fulfilling daily our purpose.

But, like the sheep we are so-called, we endeavor to form ourselves in the image of our worldly “spiritual leaders”, these false gods, rather than remain in the image of our Maker. We seek out their counsel rather than the Holy Spirit which is given to each of us.

When you come before Him again at the end of your life will He even recognize you or will He say He does not know you? I say honor your Maker; do not honor "the church". Look within for your salvation for it is not "out there". The only true commandment - encapsulated in the now familiar Ten for those who need more detailed instruction - is "Harm None".  That includes you. Save yourself.
